Wayne Potter

Hi guys, I'm English, but been living in France for years. Bought my first Honda a CB175 back in 1974, it took me on many mini North Wales adventures and my first ever wild camp too. Had several more including three CX500's and since 2004 I've been riding Honda VTwins, mostly Transalps and just sold my RD07a Africa Twin. Hoping Honda will be kind and let us have a new Transalp sooner rather than later. Cheers Wayne  VCIF_ThumbUp

:welcome: Wayne, not sure about new "small" adventure bike (Transalp?) but sure a lot of people waiting for it, and Yamaha is taking (with KTM) some advance on this category; wait and see what Honda's thinking heads will give us  ;) sure they've made great bikes with "new" CRF.
You do not speak about your French house (surely north of France?)
Be free to share your experiences, and have a look on our next (22th) meeting in Poland; we will be happy to meet you there!

Thanks zebulon for the welcome.    Actually, any further south and I'd be in Spain  8)    I enjoy getting out and about riding the mountain trails down here.  Poland sounds good  VCIF_ThumbUp

Two Plugs

Hi Wayne, another welcome. I have been riding the Transalp 600 for many, many years and still love it. Changed for the big Varadero in 1998, one of the first, a step I never regretted. Its just a super- Transalp, lol.

Owned a RD07 for a short period of time. I should NEVER had sold that bike. Rocksolid!

Love the 1100 ATAS but for that pricetag... Pfff.
