Aaarch! Brings back so many good memories! For me it was only 3 years ago... And unfortunately not on the CRF, but in the saddle of an BMuu F800GS Adventure - which actually became a very pleasant surprise compared to the 1200GS on which my colleague was riding ;)  ;D

I guess its not quite so much the ADV bike you ride but the country you ride it in.  Great article though I have to agree.
