And where is the often talked about adventage concearning the weight CRF1100L to XT1200Z (Super Ténéré) ?
XT 1200 Z with Kardan, 1200 ccm and 23 litres fuel capacity is 267 kg,
AT 1100 L without DCT, with chaine, 1100 ccm and 24 litres is 262 kg.
Now they are playing in the same leaque.
Greetings from the South of Germany
Rainer aka meine dicke
Wait and see when we have it beetwin our legs ... Have seen much more AT then XTZ at the Stella... 21" front wheel is a real advantage !
but yes I love it's ease because of the weight...
And surely if Honda increase the displacement is to push a smaller bike under ...
The advantage, Rainer? Well, not that difficult... Its a Honda.
Funny that you seems to know the weight of a yet to be introduced bike for which only is known that engine capacity and feul capacity increases.
And even Yamaha riders keep hanging around on a HONDA forum and a HONDA community... which make sence... After all, you meet the nicest people on a HONDA!

Bernard, weight is annouced in the
link you give as 524.7 pounds (237,6 kg) ...
Honda are funny guys, they say lighter, yes it is but really almost 238Kg, basically my now 230Kg bike with 5L canister still is lighter by a few hairs !
BTW Honda XLV750R is 189 Kg but dry, it's 220Kg wet and makes 61 hp not 70, but I like it's looks these were the times !
I'll be more interested by a 800cc that's more around 200Kg, because after now 32'000Km and again going to Croatia soon, I'm a bit fed up when suddenly there's a slight ditch in the ground or downslope and I need to use all my body weight and force to haul the AT out of parking spots... last time with 40 Kg packed on it, honestly I allready feel old
!
Ahhh and cruise control Honda !!!
Thx
wait & see...
for instance, it is informations I have from my dealer, with no 24l fuel tank for "normal " version ...
Really dont get it, they could have altered compression ratio more like KTM, because only 7hp increase i want to say what's the point ?
I want my lighter 800cc
Mr Honda !
Sure it comes, surely 2021 ...
