I am ready get any advises for the routes but I have a beginner riding with me
In GERMANY you should stay at TRIER (oldest city in Germany) for a longer visit.
http://www.trier-info.de/english/indexBelieve me it´s worth, I lived nearby !!!
Then you should ride along the river Mosel to KOBLENZ, don´t use any highway. Just follow the Mosel on the Bundesstrasse.
At KOBLENZ (I lived as well here), where the river Mosel meets the river RHEIN it´s worth visting the Deutsches Eck (German Corner) and the fortess "Festung Ehrenbreitstein" at the other side of the river Rhein, which was the fortress-sign against Napoleon saying not further on here at the Rhein is the border.
http://www.koblenz-tourism.com/Then go along the B 413 to HACHENBURG, follow the L 288 to SIEGEN; B 62 to BAD BERLEBURG and then to WINTERBERG.
In this area I did a lot of tours. So I can say you will enjoy it, if you offer the time needed.
Greetings from the South of Germany
Rainer alias meine dicke
Merci! I see what can I do
Between Trier and Koblenz, near Cochem, I remember taking a pic of "Europe's steepest vineyard"
Not "World's best wine vineyard", which must be undoubtedly within 50 km from my home.
See you,
Josep
Picked up my tickets today, my route is more aerial...
. Depart NZ on late on Thursday 5 May, arrive in the Netherlands on Monday 9 May...
We leave in 1 week (3th May) , for a weekend in Beaujolais (country of the "famous" vine) ; then Constance lake , Deutsch alpine road, and going up to Winterberg; if the weather allow it ....
AnneGro and I leave next Friday with the Stena Line ferry Oslo - Frederikshavn.
Our plan is three nights in Berlin and two nights at Villa Löwenherz before arriving Winterberg on Thursday.
See you very very soon

Yes it is! It's number 2 in this list above!
And I could find my pic, which IIRR was already posted in the old forum:
