Hello,
Has anyone faced with the similar correspondence. I got an offer from a buyer but for me it is at least suspicious.
I am really selling my Varadero1000. Have you got any experiance with PayPal?. Any comments will be much appreciated. Correspondence below:
"Thanks for your response. 12500PLN is a nice and acceptable price. I
will be adding the 3.9% PayPal surcharge to the total amount i will be
paying you. So i will be paying directly into your PayPal account
without any delay, and i hope you have a PayPal account.
If you have one already, just send me the address to send it to, which
is the email address you use for it or you can send me a PayPal money
request, so once i receive the details i will go ahead with the
payment through PayPal and then i will contact my shipping company
after you get the payment. I will need your home address for the
merchandise to be Picked Up by the Shipping Company.
Have a nice day.
Eric.

I would not trust it, it obviously looks like a fraude.
Let him forward the full payment to your IBAN bankaccount, just tell him You don't use PayPal.
Never had any problems with PayPal, and think you have guarantee.
Problem seems to be the guy never seen the bike and want to ship it ?
Had you have a look on the IP address from the mail sender? though He can work under proxy...
Seems better to go your way this time ...
Hi,
It is a pure fraud!!!. Everything was described by one of our guys in Polish Varadero Forum. Today I have received another mail from the other "buyer".
Not a big deal for me...I always follow simple rule , no cash no deal:)
Nice weekend,
Rafał
I've always met personally with the buyer...never give the keys until cash or certified bank check is handed over. Even for "Test Rides" ...at least ask for the Keys to his car!
Jasper , even asking for the keys to their car isn't guaranteed safe . There is a tv show here in the Uk called the Real Hustle and in one episode it shows the conmen stealing a very good car and using it as a guarantee to test drive an even better car which they ulimately steal.
Regarding paypal , if you give this person your email address to send you the money that is safe and secure, they can't touch you but you just need to be careful that the money is in your account long enough that they can't retract it. At least with paypal you will have some security.
I thought paypal was ok until someone tried to screw me. he arranged the courier for some panniers I sold for a mate, and once he could see on the couriers website that they had been picked up, he told paypal that there had been fraudulent activity on his account, so they took back the money. this was on the pay friends and family option which I thought would be safest. they investigated, and said nothing was wrong so I got the money back. 2 weeks later the money vanished again, as he had then told the credit card firm of which his card was the one registered with paypal, the same story, and had to wait 3 months while they investigated.
turned out good in the end, the mate whos panniers they were, found out his address and tel number, and harassed him that much, that he shit himself, and wrote my mate out a cheque, then 3 months later the credit card company sent me the money back from his account, so we was both quids in, and he had lost double, but it certainly opened my eyes to internet mony transfers. they are not always safe.
How much transaction each day, how much problems ? Sorry you have bad experience .
