I've cleaned this topic by removing all double postings to keep it as clear as possible. But as mentioned by Zebulon, the forum servers are limited in working space and there for, the Admin Team strongly recommend to insert pictures to your topic which are hosted externally.
We understand, that not every one is a computer-internet wizzkid, so besides the explainations which are already done, I have tried to make a more simple overview.
Repeating the exercise is the only thing to get the job done...
Its advisable to use the 'PREVIEW' button before posting a new message with picture.
To How To publish a picture:
Put your pic on the internet by using a photo server / online photo gallery; f.e. on Picassa, Smugmug, facebook gallery, Flickr, photobucket, etc
In the example below, I took a picture from my own photogallery on Smugmug.com:
Select the pictures URL by right clicking on the picture and select 'view image'. In the address line of your internet browser you now see the internet address where your picture is located.
For example this pic from my own gallery
http://varaderointernational.smugmug.com/Other/Ireland-UK-part-II-2013/i-ncJ7XRF/0/M/20130509%20%2827%29-M.jpgTo illustrate:
Select the 'insert image' button on the 2nd row from above, first button
Insert the pictures URL between the tag
Hit the preview button if you are not sure that it works ok. The picture has to have the extension (format) *.JPG, *.BMP or *.PNG to be used and to be visible at our forum.
Everything OK?
Post!
Let me know if I can help!
