Thinking of adding 25 mm or 30 mm bar risers, anyone done this and any problems with cable lengths?
Cheers
25-30mm should be ok
I used the "straight" type
The up and back type may be a stretch for the cables "as is"
I read somewhere that you can move the brake line and get a little more play
Ok i think ill go for the 25mm straights.
After some recent long rides im finding the bars a bit low.
Hope this helps
Thanks Jasper

Got the 25mm raisers too, no problem with cables. Its just a little investment / modification but with a much rewarding result!
I've got the up and back and indeed needed to sightly adjust the brakeline.

If you can manage the reach, keep the bars in a forward position. Don't be to tempted to roll them backwards ....and therefore downwards.
As noted somewhere, if you have long, knuckle dragging arms from lifting heavy wheelbarrows, you should be ok
I put them on last weekend and they fit fine with no cable adjustments needed, although the cables prob couldnt stretch much more for longer ones (30mm and +).
Per Jasper's comment i made sure i didnt let the bars drop down ... easy to do!
They are great, nice improvement esp on long rides,
Cheers
I fitted a set of 25mm straights and it has reduced my wrist ache & numbness on long journeys 100%. I had no problems with cable lengths.
