Took out my AT for a ride in the cold wet rain on some slippery gravel roads yesterday. Had to turn my traction control off just to maintain decent engine revs.
The rear suspension performed well on the rutted roads. One of the group's riders sustained a fence staple in the rear tire of his DR650, which caused the rest of us to wait about 30 minutes while the rear tube was replaced. Bike needs a good clean now!
I went for a 560km ride on Saturday. On the way back I did a quick ride up a local hill road that used to be used by boy racers. There is now a low speed limit on it, but for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was on Saturday...

A couple of weekends ago I took my AT out for a 3 day ride.
Here are a few pics of the ride. I went on the ferry across Cook Strait to the top of the South Island.

Alpine season just begin here since yesterday; not too much time this year but I've also done tracks journey in Cévennes !
