I know you like challenges, but train from Hamburg to Lörrach can save time and money
Trains are out since last year. DB ended the service
It is still an adventure. We can speed on highways if time running out to get to more important areas
I could join you if I can get week off from new work

Plan is from the May 15th going from Kransjka Gora area over Stelvio pass and to around Como Lake taking a nightrest
https://goo.gl/maps/x8dMm2aGupzFrom there into France the 16th and having night around Gap
https://goo.gl/maps/H68DMV9GMn22That is the plan, but not sure the plan is yet confirmed. Slushy roads may be route deviation.
You are welcome to join if you like.
So I guess somewhere between
Tirano and
Como will be time for nightrest.
Its all depending on how the first leg from Slovenia will progress and how many hours.
Just love the apps of hotel booking reservation..
I have not yet not ride a single meter in the Alps. Some 500 k in Pyrenees, 50000 in the Norwegian slopes and corners which not plan out in the hairpins so think I am well prepared..
It is February but just planning the routes is half the joy. That is what I love about doing my varadero journeys

You took the fast route from Slovenia without the scenery road via Bovec to beginning of Dolomites. Is this due time restrictions?
https://goo.gl/maps/eg9oP133biF2I leave the Italia to Italians
Well, we will be living in Strasbourg and I do not think I can get so long holidays to join you from Slovenia and Ursa rides shorter days than you most probably.

Something went wrong with the google copy and paste of link
This will be the route from Slovenia and pass Stelvio, why we are in a little squeezed timeframe
https://goo.gl/maps/grShZS6spYoWill be moving approx 500 km per day. Using highways when running out of time or weather with slushy roads force us
It´s an high goal to go 500k in the alps.
I plan for normal between 250k and 350k per day, which are about 8h-9h in the saddle. But without "Autobahn" which is tooooooooo expensiv out of Germany.

No problem, not too much highway in the Alps
not sure it is the best choice ... IMO
some other possibilities on the Vim's site later
@ Zebulon, do agree.
I take the route from east of Ax les Thermes go through Gorges de Galamus and over Col de Pailheres.
