I am waiting Givi TN1151 for DCT but have no idea when they come. What do you have and recommend?
I have upper and lower Touratech crash bars for my AT.
Installation was a piece of cake.
Never tested them and I hope I'll never have to test them anyway.
have Touratech and tried against a Suzuki Alto; done the job !!! I've just received my new ones today, because insurance change them for a little scratch on them ... My boss received his grey DCT today and put on Givi crash bar; we can compare ...
have heard about SW Motech are not so good; they have made 3 times changes on them till the beginning ( and they are not so pretty
)
I've got Givi bars on the Vara, seem solid and fit perfectly. Not tested them out though...

We are in the AT section
Givi bars are still Givi bars no matter that they're attached to
Experience can say that a manufacturer do not do the best products for each bike ... And one good for a bike is not the best for an other one !

I agree, Mozza.
Givi bars are really Givi bars.
I crashed into another bike with the corner of my Givi bar.
No visual damage on the bar, but the bike's frame moved 2,4 cm and the bike was condemned.
Does your boss have delivery date? MT bars are available, DCT not
We are still waiting , and no date; but I can say when we receive them
( or when we have a date )
I have ordered RockFox Upper and Lower from ADV-Motorad (NY, USA).
Rockfox Crashbar System - CRF1000L Africa Twin
Rockfox Crashbar System - CRF1000L Africa Twin
Rockfox Crashbar System - CRF1000L Africa Twin

I can't fit the crash bars until I get my new AT DCT. It's in a transit crate at the dealers right now... with my name on

As I don't really intend to do motocross and don't want to look like a panzer, I went for the outback motortek higher ones and I can tell you these things are thick and well thought out, the attachment points look pretty logical to me as well.

Very strange, do not think they can protect flank or engine casings
And nice you can hang the trees on the edge of the tracks
