It will Zebulon and you are ONtopic!
The problem (wrong of me, not really a problem more a minor downside...
) of the Rider v2 (and v5) was that when a *.gpx was converted, it 'narrowed' the waypoints back to 48. Everybody could imagine, that if you would transfer an *.gpx track with - lets say - 2500 waypoints to the *.itn file TomTom uses on the v1, 2 ans 5, valuable information could get lost.
Therefor, I use a 'breadcrumbletrail' convertor which replaces a *.gpx (or *.gdb) one-to-one to a dotted line, placing a POI at every 60 meters. Normaly I use both simultaneously and follow the dotted line if it differs from the *.itn track, cause I know this is the 100% copy of the original where *.itn could choose its own verseon.
Where did VCIM17 roadbook nr.2 got misty? Well... I only converted your roadbook to *.itn and did not used my backup security system. My faulth, the pilot is to blame!
The new v400 is complete different towards earlier riders. It depends fully on *.gpx - both on tracklogs, and on imported roadbooks / tracks; and there is no limit on waypoints anymore.
TomTom was already nr. 1 in A to B navigation, but with this new v40/v400 series they have finally taking motorcycling seriously!
