Pre Registration,That seems a little unfair to me,Why cannot it open up on whatever day so every one has a fair chance.
@ Owen : do not understanding what is unfair ? We do our best , not to loose too much time now; preregistration allows you to fill your profile, and book as we open the registrations (next hours or days)
@ Rainer: 102 on the national meeting and only 1 here is not a great result ...
I think more then 20 bikes in 2 days is nice
happy to meet you all there
Pre Registration,That seems a little unfair to me,Why cannot it open up on whatever day so every one has a fair chance.
To add to what Zebulon has already stated.
We have been let down again by the organisers on a VIM who agreed to arrange a meeting and then, when the time came to do the work, realised that they we unable (for whatever reason) to devote the time required.
It's very easy to look on VIM as another bike meeting that just needs a date and location to be announced and then everything else will fall into place.
The people who have organised a recent VIM : Peter ( Herghott ), Gareth, Erik, Gilles etc know and understand the responsibility and commitment required to make VIM work.
One of the big concerns is the responsibility for the behaviour of those attending that the organiser accepts. If there are any problems during the event (damage, failure to settle bills, speeding etc) the police or the venue owners may try to hold the organiser responsible. That's why we insist on recording details for those attending, the same details you might be asked for when checking into a hotel.
Processing the registrations, creating/updating the website at the last minute and liaising with the venue is not a 5 minute job.
Please understand we are working hard to make this happen.

We will be opening the booking section this evening.
People who have received login details for the website (by sending and email to admin@vim20.org as noted below) and have completed their profile section should then be able to see the booking section.
We need all your details (address, passport No, Bike reg) to allow us to make the bookings.
We have a range of bungalows/apartments and camping options available.
The number of bungalows & apartments is limited and we ask you to share wherever possible to try and make sure we have enough accommodation for everyone.
There are two options for payment : PayPal or Bank transfer.
The prices shown at the checkout are for PayPal with European fess added. If you are paying by bank transfer you only need to pay the prices shown under the Product descriptions. Sorry if this seems complicated but the Ecommerce system we are using on this website does not allow us to vary the checkout price depending on the payment method.
If you are paying via PayPal or bank transfer from outside the Eurozone you need to make sure that we receive the prices shown on the product descriptions.
If you wish to pay via bank transfer please send and email to zebulon@vim20.org and copy admin@vim20.org requesting details of the receiving bank.
Some bungalows and apartments are capable of sleeping extra people, if you want to use this option please the prices for increased occupancy are shown for each item.
The Products are listed and prices shown for accommodation and, as usual, the attendance fee. The attendance fee covers meals, shirts etc. etc.
Everyone attending VIM need to pay the attendance fee.
We split it up this way to make it easier for those people sharing accommodation, bringing a guest or part occupying a bungalow or apartment.
Camping options/products are also shown with prices for 1 or 2 people per pitch. Electric hookup is shown as an extra.
If you have any questions please send and email to admin@vim20.org and copy zebulon@vim20.org
Thanks
