Today is my last day with the V85TT.
Tomorrow I trade it in on a different bike.
Y'all going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out what it is, but suffice to say it is not a Honda so I'll still be hanging out in the Strangers in da house part of the forum.
Cheers from downunder...
we're waiting for the surprise; a japanese one ?
May be, itīll be a Royal Enfield Himlayan
.

Changed the title of the thread.
Today I swapped my 2020 V85TT for the 2016 Moto Guzzi California. The trade was just a straight swap.
The California has only 4000km on it and it is very different to ride. Heavy but I like the cruiser.
Nice bike David
(but not my choice). Waiting now for your summer trips reports
I will be taking a three day ride in early February.
Starting to feel more comfortable on the beast, it is surprisingly nimble for a cruiser. Ground clearance, while well short of adventure bike standards, is good for a cruiser, best in class I think. The shocks are average, I can see replacement rear shocks at some point.
The motor has truck like torque. Power is back up to where I am used to compared to the V85 which was if anything a little under powered.
The seating position is going to take a bit longer to get used to, so different from the bikes I have ridden recently. I think I will be investing in a back support brace, my back with previous injuries catching up with me as I age has been heading that way for some time.
At a time when the purchase of a motorcycle was beyond the dream zone, I spent a lot of time looking at such a photo, a motorcycle affectionately called "gutek"
Tank you David for reporting !
Thanks.
Hmm ... from what I see it's probably summer for you
We have snow up to our armpits!
Thanks.

Yes summer.
Europe seems to be getting a lot of snow in the last few days.
Certainly a different ride
David, are you getting old?
