I can begin to have some idea on CRF consumption. First ride from home to Beaujolais it was 5l/100km. Second thru Jura to border 4,8l/100 and last one, yesterday 4,7; I have the reserv light at 330 Kms. So not noticeable difference on my travel use between this one and Vara; the only difference, I fill with only 20€, much more for the Vara.
All ride have been done 2 on the bike and luggages, "normal" conditions, speed limits and not attack on the small turning roads ... Consumption indications are these on the bike's computer, not recalculate, but seems not far from reality
those are similar figures to that obtained by a good friend of mine. He recently did a 21 day trip around NZ two up and gear on his AT.
As we ride flat roads today , only 4,5 l/100
Very prommissing Gilles! It will even improve as you ad more kilometers. Keep us posted. Hows the bike riding two up? Compared with the Varadero?
Today is also flat but windy (against us) 4.4 l/100
Up to 5.7l/100kms on Deutsch autobahn; we reach the limits of the small screen for me in these conditions.
5.1 l/100 kms, soft ride in Belgian Ardennes, a little bit Deutche autobahn and more aggressive ride in French pass...
Refilled 14,37 liters in Luxembourg, no more indication on the ODO under 1liter in the tank ...
This last day 403,3 kms on small roads; with storms and hail ... but still 4.7l/100km
3784 kms for this whole VCIM and 4.9l/ 100km !
That's good economy for a one litre bike loaded up.
1395kms more on the ODO this week with av 4,8L ... nice bike !
My first refueling @T according to the indicator average 4.6 , by refueling 4.32 L/100 km
