Sure the new Goldwing (euro 4 ) ; and a new Africa Twin Adventure ; have to wait end of September to have an idea what would be the @T A ... (Larger tank, accessories .... )
Not Honda, but personally I think the announced Tenere 700 from Yamaha is going to be an interesting concept in the adventure bike world!I am assuming that Honda would think of getting a smaller version of the Africa Twin (new Transalp?) on offer to compete; they have a perfect engine: the twin from the NC750(X).
I think the NC750X engine is a bit heavy for an adventure bike.
I've heard rumours about the Goldwing being a technological marvel.
Yamaha will have their new 700 there for sure.
The KTM 1050R is selling very well in NZ, must admit it is a nice bike.
We are waiting GW with DCT
Adventure Sports, coming soon...
November 6th...
Thats what Honda just announced...
Announced a few time ago here ...
We are waiting GW with DCT
And new GW was announced 24.10.2017, with 7 speed DCT!
In my modest opinion... the new Goldwing shifts in aspects of dynamics more towards the 'old' ST1300 Pan European which I think, is a good thing.
Don't think however that the pricetag shifts towards that same direction...
ST did not have double wishbone front suspension
ST did not have double wishbone front suspension
This is an interesting development, one I am not sure about. Really interested to ride the bike to see how it performs. Good weight saving but yeah, that price tag, when announced, will surely make our eyes water
