When you get to the checkout you have to accept the terms and conditions, choose your payment method and then, if you have a small screen, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the "Finish" button.
Click the Finish button (even if you're not from Finland) and you will then complete your booking.

As said else where (sorry I don't find it anymore) ; we cannot make any refund of your booking fee. We are not travel agency or something like this (professional organization); and we take some involvements with SPEs , we have to honore. in case of personal problem, you have to find somebody to exchange your reservation. We cannot assure this kind of benefit. Sorry for that
to be completed by some forum veteran if necessary
Gilles doesnt have to appologize for the fact that we CAN NOT refund both the participants fee and the accomodation fee. No exceptions will be made. The content of Gilles message above covers it all.
For under 10€ you can have a short time travel insurance with refund insurance valid during the event. In most cases, an insurance like this must be booked within a few days after you made your VCIM booking secure. Please visit your local insurance agent or automobile club.
I've got a travel insurance via the Dutch ANWB automobile club for the expected 2 weeks I will be travelling in France next may for €17,- including refund insurance for previously booked accomodations.
On topic: check if your health insurance covers repatriation and medical care outside you county. If not, in most casss it can be included in your travel insurance for just a little plus.
I let Stewart complete (and I want to warmly thank him for the job done ) ; as usually you have to send a mail to adminxxx@xxxvcim17.xxxcom with your forum mail , to complete the registration on the vcim17 site; then you receive your login and you have access to the booking process.
Please be patient it come ASAP.
Very happy to see much of you next year in France
Somebody's going to have to talk me through this or I definitely won't be coming.

Sorry a little bit off topic but complementary. Sure the
European health insurance card is indispensable (and known) for EU residents in 28 countries.
Jack York. This is for you. You must obtain a password from the organisers so that you can gain access to the
www.vcim17.com website. To do that you must send an email to Stuart at admin@vcim17.com and ask for a password. Stuart thinks that he can protect himself against spam by putting lots of xxxs into his email address. Of course he won't because the spammers will find him wherever he is - no place to hide Stuart. When he sends you your password, you must sign on to the website and enter your details. I am looking forward to meeting you again so make sure you come to VIM.
As to insurance, Zebulon (Gilles) is correct. Everbody from within the EU should apply for the medical insurance cover that is free to us all. Also, most bike insurers include get you home insurance as part of the deal. Ask Big Dave, who has used it many times with the Mighty Blue and who, alone, is responsible for the increase in our insurance premiums.
It seems that some people prefer to post questions, send pm's etc rather than starting at the begining of this thread and reading the basic instructions.
To make it easier for them I've created a locked topic with easy to follow instructions. Please read this before posting questions, sending PM's etc.

Having read again, from the beginning, it seems that in post #4, by SB, hidden in the text, is the key phrase, "(Remove the xxx's, I've altered the posts below to try and avoid getting spammed by web crawlers)."
Things become clearer now. was anyone else suspicious of the apparently low IQ of our membership?
Confucius he say, always make sure, the person you are talking to, understands, what you THINK you have said.
If I had more computer knowledge, I would highlight that bit, rather than make snide comments.
I don't think there is anything sarcastic here ( perhaps my poor English...) think we have repeat here 3 or 4 times the process; and we answer a lot of PM or mail each day; hoping be the most pleasant for everyone.
We try our best to make this meeting unforgettable, and have to be a little bit prudent.
Think we have to stay in topic, to let information readable. Thank you

Thank you very much Jess. That helps a lot and may be the problem. I still haven't managed to access the site but we'll see.
[The other comment about ,the kitty, was for you only, I got confused between post & pm. I AM old]
