This sounds exact like the Northern Dutch and German coast to me, Josep! Get on a plain (Veuling does Groningen Airport Eelde) take your bikers gear with you and all you need is... a weekend!  ;)

Tempting, really tempting ...  :)
I've just checked. It's Ryanair, and flies Wednesdays and Sundays from Girona ...  :(

Regards,

Josep

I really recommend a stay at the Stikfort Inn.
It comes with a great guide and he will probably feed you too ;D

Seriously, I had a super weekend in Gronningen and our rides on the XLV750s were so much fun.
(and thank you for letting me have the slightly faster bike ;) )

I'm fascinated by the narrow brick roads and the grid of roads that goes through the fields of farmlands. It is a beautiful country with really nice people and I would absolutely check in at the Inn again some time :)

Read with interest.  2015 tour plans in Europe still wide open.  I'm having fun exploring ideas on these pages...

Google Maps is your friend. 'Street View' doesn't just mean streets, look out for the option in the mountains and other surprisingly out of the way places.
I just mentioned on Zebulon's post that I found a tree in the Alps that I spent the night under a few years back! I'll find it again and post a screen shot.

STIKFORT INN?? 9* accomodation , rooms with view and free ride out with XLV 750 in scennic Dutch routes ... its really a very attractive proposal !  ;D ;D
