Don't actually know where vcim20 will be held... But distance is no issue to me, I think.  ::)

It will be closer to you and me ! :D

But who actually organizes vcims all these last year? Isn't it a certain and same committee every year?

Every / each VIM/VCIM is/was/will be organized by a local orga team , who can manage all aspects of the meeting; reception, accommodation , trips & activities. This orga team can count on the forum admin team, and organizers of the old meeting can be also a precious help VCIF_salut

Barcelona? Olé! So that would be 4 years from now. That's still a long time ahead. I wouldn't know what bike I would have at that time. For now I'll keep some varadero stickers to use on my future if different bike.  ;)

VCIM 21 Will be in 3 years... I remember when announcing VCIM17 in Vim14, and then one day it arrive.... And you really need time to prepare ... And as said feel free to come to a previous meeting, you will then become a veteran and will be welcome with any bike.
Sure you can find some interesting elements in vcim18.com site (VIM history ) .  VCIF_salut

I gratefully appreciate all your input in this thread. For the time being, I will just participate in this forum and, where possible, participate also at vcims. It is not my intention to organize a vcim and I'm aware that organizing a vcim is not an easy task, so I leave it to the ones able to do it.

In that case... we'll lock this topic. Suggestions for future VCIM's can be posted separately  ;).
