Hi guys n gals just bought an 08 xl1000 with centre stand fitted, on my old one (02) a handle was fitted under the seat to aid lifting onto said stand,but on my 08 no handle exists is this an after market and can one be bought, cheers

Just use package holder / passenger handle

Yes its after market.

Sw motech sells them.

I also use the passenger handle to help lift the bike.

You don't need a handle...its all in the technique

...even for a fully loaded Vara.
However, getting the loaded beast off the centre stand can be scary!

Do you take it off the centre stand standing beside it or do you sit on I and roll it off? I like to be sitting on it and roll it off( I know its not the best idea, but I feel more comfortable doing it.
