My Dears,
I appreciate your initiative to help Ukraine fight the Russian occupation - it is very important and noble.
However, I would like to propose to you that, at least for the time being, we do not resign from a joint get-together in the Bieszczady. Marta and Marcin, the owners of Myczkowianka, are currently strongly involved in helping refugees and are also supported by many people. It is important for this support to be long-term, as it will also help them (Marta and Marcin) in this difficult situation for everyone.
By coming together we will all be able to show solidarity and mutual support. It seems to me that at this time we all need each other, and I certainly need you.
I would also like you to meet Marta and Marcin, who are themselves motorcyclists and have been hosting motorcyclists at their premises for many years, and are now helping refugees from Ukraine.
I do not want to put anyone in danger, but at least for now Poland is a safe country, it is a member of NATO.

Kris

Hi everybody,
preparations for VIM-22 on 3-6 June are already underway.
I will try to post updated information regarding the event after the weekend.
I know there will be some changes regarding participant accommodations and I, for example, will need to order a larger t-shirt after two years of Covid, I will also ask you about this.

best
K

been looking at entry rules regarding covid for uk travellers for holland, germany, and poland, first two seem straightforward. but im a bit confused with entry into poland. i have had all three jabs, and would use a self use lateral flow test within 24 hours of getting to the border and will be able to show them the result on my uk national health service app on my phone which also shows proof of my 3 covid jabs. would they let me into poland, any thoughts guys.

Hi,
14th participants of VIM-22 have not booked accommodation.

There are still 2 chalets available (nice and comfortable, three bedrooms, bathroom and living room with kitchenette) and the possibility to arrange accommodation in Solina hotel.
If you are interested, please let me know.

My dear friends,

As some of you know I was no longer happy with my AT.
This resulted in selling it last week.

On this moment I'm looking out to buy a new bike but I'm still not sure what it will be. On top come the general delivery-problems (according the dealers I've spoken with (Yamaha - Triumph - Moto Guzzi) for new models.

This means this year I probably will not be able to attend VIM (again).
Kris (K68) is already notified with the situation.

I wish al the participants a splendid VIM and I hope to see you all again in the future!

Why you were not happy with your AT?

It proved not reliable / not well manufactured. It spend several time at the dealer and it's my only means of transport so I got pretty annoyed with it.

  • Replaced spokes (garanty)
  • Had to change front brake discs
  • Replacing the hidden spark-plugs is no fun job
  • Leaking cylinderhead seal
  • While replacing the leaking seal they checked all other stuff => rubbers at all the spark-plugs were worn (weathered (?))
  • Right front brake stuck at the traffic lights, released itself after some pushing and didn't occur again (may-be I crashed that way???)
  • DCT fault, see concerning post

It's just enough, I have no longer confidence in the bike.

Greetings,
Bruno
