Who among you are seriously considering or have already bought the new Africa Twin?

I'd like to, but I've hit a snag! My wife has persuaded me to agree to house renovations (new carpet, furniture and kitchen plus minor building mods), so money is tight this year as $60k (and counting) rapidly departs our collective bank accounts

Mmmm. Sort of half way between Tarragona and Barcelona. A town notorious for its carnaval and its "free lifestyle", which has for instance made it since long a cherished place for the gay community.

Tnx to some good SA connections, I can give you a small update on the current press release of the CRF1000 Africa Twin in Sunny South Africa. I could write pages of stuff, about every aspect, but the first colleagues I have chatted with, are saying only this: The bike is a BLAST and the DCT gearbox is an engineering masterpiece, even offroad. Some pics to share... Sorry for the Q of them, I wasn't the photographer....

If you have some specific Q's I might forward them to my South African connections.

To get your dimensions how big the bike actually is: the car is a 4x4 Iveco Daily truck.
