Not true you have to wear an HiViz jacket to ride in France; only if you're broken down along the road ; so you have to bring one in your top-case (or elsewhere). you have not to bring one for your pillion (in the law- but surely do what you want)  ;)

If you agree, please erase our two last posts.

==> You have to take a HiViz jacket with at your ride. You have to wear this jacket if you have an accident or break down or ...
