Road to VIM19

Jack Sawdayee:
Dear Friends
I would be much obliged if one of the road experts draw a route from Venice Italy to Gotland. With advice on how many ferries we are obliged to take, prices, internet site of the ferrfy company and if possibel to overpass that ferry route. I need that information in order to plan my trip schedule.

Hi Jack,
Take the toll road & bridge from Denmark to Sweden (Malmö) and the only ferry you need to take is from the Swedish mainland to Visby, the capitalcity of Gotland. The Danish Sweden toll bridge is relative expensive, but a marble of civil engineering which I am sure would be of interest to you.

Regarding to the ferry to Visby: There are 3 options, just Google on 'Ferry to Visby'.

Fortunately we have GPS these days, just set yours on either 'most scenic' or 'fastest' route from Venice to Visby 😉

Jappen:
Hi,

Leaving Oslo Thursday 1.st June to stay in Stockholm to Friday 2.nd June. Any one else?

Well, in fact there are two toll bridges... the "Øresundsbron" between Denmark and Sweden, 27 Euro each way: https://www.google.dk/maps/place/%C3%96resundsbron/@55.9524912,9.7552342,7z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xbc0e93c11c372873!8m2!3d55.5706295!4d12.8486395

And the "Storebæltsbro" which keeps Denmark divided in two, because of the toll  ::), 18 Euro each way: https://www.google.dk/maps/place/Storeb%C3%A6lt/@55.8693633,9.1640324,7z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x2a26e3c3f9c23dae!8m2!3d55.3336849!4d10.9738827

This is an even bigger experience in engineering than the Øresundsbridge. When build, it was close to be the longest suspension bridge in the world... but the japanese was faster...  ;D

Alternatively, there are in fact ferries too, one between Denmark and Sweden, Helsingør-Helsingborg, 25 Euro each way: https://www.google.dk/maps/dir/3000+Helsing%C3%B8r/Helsingborg,+Sverige/@56.1534535,9.5720015,7z/data=!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x465231112f400bb3:0xf3e36e3c5817f767!2m2!1d12.592127!2d56.030787!1m5!1m1!1s0x46522d7a50a22925:0x4019078290e7a90!2m2!1d12.6945121!2d56.0464674

And the one between Germany and Denmark, Puttgarden-Rødby, 41 Euro each way: https://www.google.dk/maps/dir/54.5026415,11.2280645/54.6543719,11.35086/@55.7640547,9.361213,7.25z

And the other, Rostock-Gedser, 51 Euro: https://www.google.dk/maps/dir/54.1506865,12.0975828/Gedser+Landevej,+4874+Gedser/@55.9824161,9.37469,7z/data=!4m8!4m7!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x47ad225cd11ee319:0x66a012cc31be37b8!2m2!1d11.9243255!2d54.5742605

I think there are some ferries directly between Germany and Sweden as well, the Swedes must know about that.
