Got the bike back allready, it's insane they showed me the right bearing 4 balls were into shreds, the left one was as new...
The mechanic asked Honda for a warranty repair, crossing my fingers and hope the new bearings are a better batch !
The bearings are few euro each, I didn't bother to claim warranty as they are wearing parts anyway. You can always carry set of bearings with you, they are not expensive or heavy.

Do you use a pressure washer ?
SB, this has nothing to do with water, or washing bike. Just a batch of bad bearings as there was a batch of bad spokes too I assume.

MrKiwi

A friend of mine is doing a around the world trip on his AT. He's been at it for two years and has some experience with the rear wheel bearing.

Apologies if I am not permitted to link to another forum, but this is the easiest way to show what he has done.

That was some time ago when he fitted this bearing and I spoke with him recently and he says it is doing a good job. Prior to this he replaced his rear bearing twice.
MrKiwi
old enough that I should know better!
