hi everyone, days ago when I installing the givi crash bar on my AT, I found this, it is the alternator exit wire plug, it seemed that the sealing surface of the plug was lifted up by the excessive cover gasket material, will it be a problem?  can some RTV fix the issue?

It does not look good, you are still under warranty? Go to shop and ask them to fix it.

yeah, I brougt it two weeks ago, and the stuff from the dealer told me that just leave it alone till oil leak, he said if it is no oil come out from the plug means the sealing is in good condition.

seems not very good; sure you have to see your dealer. not worthy of Honda  :-[

Looks like something that would come out of a Triumph factory. It seems that the art of building a bike well is a dying art, even for Honda.

yeah, a bit disappointed, and the only way to get it right is open the case and reseal it, sure the dealer would not do it to a no-leaking plug

Seems dealers have to share the quality 's image of Honda. Here in Europe, they do their best this way... Hope too for you  VCIF_ThumbUp
