Varadero tank capacity

(1/1)

Snurrepus:
A couple of days ago I set a new record
I did 511 km before refilling the tank.
OK. No motorways. Only smaller Norwegian roads from western to eastern Norway.
I thought the tank capacity is 25 litres, but I was wrong...  :D VCIF_salut

varonda:
Wow -- according to google conversion that's over 300 miles -- most I ever got was 190 miles give or take  VCIF_ok

I managed to squeeze in 27 liter once on my SD01, lol. Perhaps the fueltap wasn't calibrated?  ;D But my current SD03 I now have is extremely fuel efficient for a bike this size, displacement and weight. Fuel light never starts before 400-430km. Note... compared to my previous '04 SD02, this bike isn't tuned, only the stock airfilter is replaced for an BMC one.

Had a great ride with my brother on his new ATAS 1100 DCT. Thats an efficient bike! We toured 350km and he managed to do an average of 1 liter to 24 km (me: 1 : 21) and his bike was still in the run-in period (<1.500km on the odo, mine: 60K+)
