I recently bought a generic Chinese GPS with bluetooth and the latest iGO maps for £28.00. It is brilliant, it is even better than my previous Chinese GPS - bought for £50.00 - that worked well for a couple of years before I dropped and broke it. It is not sold as waterproof, but it has got wet a number of times with no problem.
I understand that Garmin changed over a couple of years ago to a Chinese GPS tracking system as it was faster and made the unit more accessable.
