The way to VIM 21
« on: September 05, 2018, 15:42:20 »
During the preparation for my way to the VIM 21 i found reports about the Marguerite Route in Denmark. Can someone tell me more about it or is someone else already driving this route or parts of it?
Best regards

As a lot of other countries, Danmark is part of the TET (Trans Euro Trail) ; Is some of the locals have tested? parts are possible to ride with a big trail in duo, and some (quite) only with a smaller enduro bike ...
So waiting for your reports ...  VCIF_salut

Take a look at this.
https://www.visitdenmark.com/denmark/attractions/marguerite-route

It's small roads which will lead you to beautiful landscapes, small villages and smaller tourist attractions.
Along the route you also will find old, small, private pubs (kro), often with acco.
Here you also can taste local beers and traditional Danish food.
See you deep in a German forest ;)

We actually did the German-Danish part of this route on our way to VIM Geiranger, few years ago. Absolutely recommendable. The route even streches down south to the Dutch coast.

VCIF_ThumbUp Thank you Zebulon for the link, i found it too and i'm working with.  VCIF_ThumbUp

Now i have personal impressions from guys here in the Forum. You have to know - my impression from Denmark is, it is small and flat and the tour could be boring. But it looks, it is not. I also found  some beaches on wich you can drive with the bike (or car). Looks nice on Youtube. I will try it. It will be a new experience for us.

After the german meeting is nearly booked out already, I decided to make my trip to VIM21 definetly. May be with a loop over norway and sweden included.

Hallo Stephan,

so we shall see us again for a VIM  VCIF_ThumbUp.

I am planing to take the route through the Netherlands (Nimwegen; Amsterdam, Den Helder, Ijsselmeer-"Bridge" and along the Nothern Sea coast) to Bremerhaven and the ferry at Puttgarden.

Greetings from the South of Germany
Rainer aka meine dicke

PS: Never had been at a tour such long under msl. Hopefully nobody opens the plug, I have no diving equipment with  VCIF_37_ohh.

Expecting ride south Finland and Baltics, had planned a lot of gravel roads in these countries, and have a look on TET tracks; is it easy to find petrol in these countries, or wise to bring some more liters ? thx for neighbors who knows.

This topic is in my modest opinion about travelling to VIM, not converting our community more and more to an offroad group?
