Good to hear that the alledged BMuu you bought was a big mistake...  ;D

Have not bought one yet, rented a 2009 BMuu GSA and Liked it a lot but not enough to buy one yet.... Next season I am renting a tiger explorer to compare.

I have choosen the S10 (Yamaha XT1200 ZE WC) Super Ténéré and I´m happy with. Just take this bike in your choice and do a test ride.

@ my idea, Rainer. Especially your version, the Worldcrosser. The Tiger 1200 (Although being a very underestimated bike, my little brother ownes the 'touring' version of that engine, the Trophy SE) is even more cramp in layout and design than the new Africa Twin. Even being 8cm smaller (...  ;D ) than Menno it feels tiny.

But for Menno every bike is too small, except perhaps a Goldwing 1800  ;D

I am going to test the S10, the Triumph Tiger Explorer, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure T and the BMuu GSA LC. And with testing I mean driving it in the Eifel for a weekend.

not an easy choice to make, all very nice bikes.

Keemer? Don't you mean beemer?

The bike I am most curious about is the KTM... That might turn out to be an awesome ride.
Love the dimensions and specs a lot, even though I have schrunk to more normal dimensions.

Katoom is used more often I believe.

Indeed. I looked seriously at the 1290 Adventure, but then decided it was too big and and too ungainly on gravel roads. The AT with the DCT gearbox is a better suited bike for my two up adventure riding than the KTM.

However, each to their own.

The AT its truly a beautiful bike. But even Twoplugs looks huge when riding it. I saw a picture of him on it and actually thought he gained 40 kilos. He didn't, the  bike is very slim. That's not for me! Twoplugs is just tall, I am big. That's why I am looking at big, fat and loud bikes that matches better with me.

The KTM is huge. I just don't like the colour.... Pearly white... Should be all dull black with some tiny orange details.

Indeed.  It's a good bike, has tremendous range, lots of power, nice electronics and is a breeze to ride on tarmac.
