Road Pilot 4 Trail fitted to my CT

My tires after about 4500kms.


The front is wearing well and due to the grip I am getting the bike over more allowing better corning with confidence.


The rear tire is starting to square off already.  A little disappointing.  I suspect I have about 3000km left on the rear.  New Zealand road surfaces are hard on tires.

I have no idea how you get such good mileage from youth tires, I will not get near 10000 kms from my rear tire.

Just have to ride very slow !!!          (don't look at me Jyrki I'm out !!! )

Maybe u do not use them till the end?

I would guess my Varadero with camping gear and the bike and panniers would be heavier than the Crosstourer and I've already got 12,000 kilometres front/back on my Pilot Road Trails. They've been fantastic. I'd say I still have a few thousand left before they are too square and weird to ride.
