Out of my memory (I disconnected from the TA world in May 2004  ;D ), I think it had a certain popularity in Greece.

I wasn't aware that this meant-for-Japan version had been sold in any other European country.  :)

Greetings,

Josep

Two Plugs

It was never sold in The Netherlands, but I know about the existence. Two members of the Dutch Transalpclub drove two XL400V's from Japan over land back home to Amsterdam.

That's a great link for the history of the bike, especially the description of the main points of difference between the model series.

old enough that I should know better!

DenisOnWheels

I recently got a XL400V in very bad shape and I am tring to get her back into life again. I am however going to install an XL 650 V engine.

Who has attempted such to share their experience

Thanks
Denis
