Hello and welcome
Transalp is a reliable bike (motor) so you have to check all others parts and oil change, valve clearance, carburetor synchro, distribution, air filter, pads and front disc, rear lining, brake fluid drain, fork drain + change of oil seals, chain kit...
I will prefer a more recent model double front brake etc ...
Seems (view from here) a little bit too expensive for this age ( not too much kils if real)

Sure here some/most of us had a TA but it is the Big sister family here ...

Alone we go faster, together we go further

I do not ride fast, I ride far / I'm not lost, I'm just exploring

Check the output shaft from the gearbox. the splines tend to wear which is attached to the front drive sprocket.
Apart from that, these bikes are really super reliable.
These can easily do 300k km if looked after properly.
My initials are GS but I  ride a Crosstourer.

Two Plugs

It looks like a MK1. Things where you should worry about is the mounting of the CDI units under the seat (modified by Honda on the '94 model, new type of mounting rubbers) and the piston rings which lead to oil use. Plus the advice from Gareth (Tarwdu). I had 5 Transalps, amongst the model you are planning to buy. Rocksolid bikes.
