Your link came up as private.

As did mine when I tried to post it.

Now works -

Thanks Jyrays - admittedly it very early morning my time and I had not had my first coffee of the day, but your solution works very well.

I like what I see, just waiting on specs now.

Cheers

O.M.G! This looks even better than I possibly could imagine. Next September is scheduled for the Press intro in Morocco. Soon after that, we know more. LOVE the WHITE one!  VCIF_ok

This is going to be a long lunchbreak... without visiting our cafetaria... which is rather exceptional for me... LOVE my wide LED screen @ the office!

Why is the majority of footage taken from the right hand side ?

The short glimps of a seated rider shows a low seat/high peg configuration thats looks more cramped than the Vara or CT !

The left side must look empty, without these pipes and silencer  ;)

We'll see what she's like "comfortwise"  ;D

Josep

Likes: poweroutput, design. Like the proposed price (12.000,-, depending to local taxes and as predicted by me earlier) even more. Torque is actually the same as on my XL1000V Varadero. Excellent!

Weight is still good. I don't want a <200kg bike for long distance touring which is blown out of its path at every minor breeze of wind. Wel done, Honda. Every one complaining about weight: get a live. Buy the 450 or a crap CB500X.

Only minor two things I am questioning... Looking @ the pics with rider, the knee angle in sitting possition looks rather sharp... can't be comfy on long runns. Valid point, Stewart! And... Honda, Why, why a crap 18L fuel capacity !?!? I get in average 450-500km from my Varadero (last build model, 25L fuel capacity) which puts almost 300kg on the scale without saving on the throttle. Thats the mileage I want from an adventure bike designed for long distance adventure touring. I really can not believe that the new CRF1000 could achieve this, our could even get close.

I still wanna ride it though! At the moment, it has the best cards to replace my current bike. Second best... a low mileage S10.

I really wanna see it in a direct test with a last model Varadero, in action as travel bike 2-up. Could be surprising...

First impressions of the video and of the technical data I've gained.

At the moment I prefer the following conclusion:

 1. In the grounds of the videos I take the Vara as well. Maybe not so photogenic, but I'm not a factory rider.
 2. The power and torque I have very similar with my Vara. Wherein the course of the power and the torque curve was not yet known.
 3. Now the point, my Vara is fuelled with 275 kg heavier than the new AT. In conjunction with No. 1 the AT may be easier to handle off- and as well on-road.

Let's see what will bring the future information and especially the Popo-meter test.
