Back home, safe and sound with 5212 new (and fantastic) km's on the ODO.
It was so nice to meet you all again, or for the first time, and i hope I'll see you at a VCIM in the future.

Thank you so much Gilles and Michelle for a perfectly planned and executed meeting.

I'm in love with France :-*

AnneGro and I arrived safely in Oslo today after 6389 km.
We made short distances every day and stayed in Thiers, St Amour in Jura, Strasbourg, Bad Hönningen, Paderborn and Celle.
We enjoyed Kristin's company the first three days, but we were much too slow for her.
She disappeared as a silver arrow near Mulhouse  ;)

Our plan was to take the ferry Kiel - Oslo, but someone (me, of course) had booked the ticket the wrong way.
The ferry from Kiel had no space for more motorbikes, so we had to take the Kiel - Gothenburg ferry instead.
Today we had 300 km from Gothenburg to Oslo, withg the worst sidewind ever.
This was the first time my magnetic tankbag has moved by itself  :o :o

Thanks a lot to Michelle and to Gilles for a excellent VCIM17 including the two daytrips.
Now we are very excited where we meet again.
See you deep in a German forest ;)

Hi,

After 4126kms between Porto, Bardos , Nant , Paris, Tours, Porto and many adventures , we arrived saved and well . The tire arrived to Paris, we were on the motorway the speed of 110kms/h , arrived in Paris had to change the tire because it was already in very poor condition. Back in Portugal and yet close to Paris, trailer suspension broke up , which delayed five hours in our return, so we had to get to sleep in Tours. The next day, we did 1350kms to Porto. We arrived tired but fine.

A big thank to Michelle and Gilles for the excellent organization of this event.

Thanks to the mishaps, Crosstourer did the best average ever 5,1l / 100km ;)
1350km Tired ? Daseeee ... Who was tired? :o  We were ready to more 700km to Algarve  8)

After two long weeks on the bikes, visiting France, now we are also back at home. It was a magnificent VIM. Thank you again, Zebulon.
Best regards
