Sorry the temptation was just too great...

Went out for a fabulous ride on Saturday - from Hereford to Kington then out on the A44 to Walton, backroads through Evenjobb, Llanbister, and then on the wonderful, curving A483 southwards to Crossgates, back to Kington, but not ready to head back to Hereford just yet so pointed my front wheel to Presteigne, but then turned off to take the B4362 back towards Walton... only to find a really intriguing turn off to Evenjobb and then back to Walton, Kington and Hereford.

Felt so good to be out on the bike on dry, relatively salt-free roads again. Got home grinning from ear to ear.

I had to look for those places on a map... and they made me remember a night I spent in Newtown...

Looks like you had a nice ride in a not so populated area between Herefordshire and Powys. Congratulations,

been that way a few times. leominster, pembridge for dinner, hundred houses. roads quiet & great scenery..
