Fabulous videos again. Thanks guys.

Am I right in thinking that at about 4 mins in Jokern's film one of the 'gang' has stopped a coach to let everyone past. Very good idea, are the coach drivers agreeable to this civilised behaviour or do you just force them to a halt?
I wish there was government policy to introduce this kind of safety measure as the norm.

JK

PS I also notice, at the toll booth, somebody must have collected all the monies prior and acted as liaison to count the rest through.

This situation?

This was a swedish busdriver tired of motorcyclists. Only rule is that upgoing with speed should get through before those getting downhill.
This busdriver did everything he could to block us to pass, turning out to the leftside of the road. Kjetil did the right decision to stop him before someone was injuried.

Great video's Skye & Jokern!
Thanx a lot for sharing these good memories we had together in Geiranger!
Wonderful!

And thanks Kjetil for his brave action to stop the bus (and blocking other traffic at crossings etc. during our trips)!

@jackyork : fees for ferries, lunch/coffeebreak at Stryn and Dalsnibba tollroad were all included in vcim-fee. Saved a lot of time and trouble  :) Thanks to Erik and Annegro!

Thought it was too good to be true!
What a Tw@ the driver.....What a hero Kjetl!  Bravissimo!

No doubt the driver will be telling tales of being forced to stop by hooligan motorcycle gang!

the poor driver failed to notice a bunch of veryyyyyy large motorcycles with massive headlights and high visibility jackets sitting behind his coach......obviously the coach driver was extremely alert.....

I think the point is he did notice and actively tried to bugger up the chances of passing safely. There was me  thinking it was 'continental etiquette' to let faster vehicles pass. Of course etiquette can be forced on people...bravo again Kjetl.

Well, this ***hole showed a poor kind of behaviour and had to be stopped by Kjetil.

It's worth to mention that that during my two weeks trip through Norway almost every car- and camperdriver neatly slowed down and pulled aside to let me pass. That's the right way of doing t.m.o.   :)
In every occasion both my wife and I thanked the driver by raising our hand.

Talking about tunnels: never in my whole life experienced tunnels 'norwegian way' .
Some are very long ( up to 25 km!), some are gravel and most of them are very badly illuminated.
I once entered a dark tunnel and had to turn sharp right, turn right, turn right, keep turning right etc.
At the end I had been driving down a spiral through the mountain!
Never seen that before!  :o
So, never enter an unknown dark tunnel at high speed in norway!

Saw that you tube some time ago and there seems to be no information on what started it and no conclusion. All are crazy Americans, some bikers wearing chrome German helmets and nobody seems to want to involve the police. If somebody tries to pull me out of the car, I'll run him over and argue about it later.
Ride safe.
