Greetings from Cologne
« on: May 10, 2019, 21:06:39 »
Just found this forum...

So this a heartily hello to all adventure bikers out there and the best wishes for your ride from Germany. My name is Alexander. I am a personal business coach. I ride bikes since around 30 years- without any accident so far. Last year I bought a Varadero after a few years spare time. The reason was to have a bike for me and my girlfriend ... that time be both had 90 kg each :D so I needed a strong big bike. Now it changed. She is 72 and I am 85 kg. We will travel soon to Austria on the Vara and then she changes to a little Transalp 650 and the Vara is just for me :)

Thank you for being here and see you on the road around the world.

Yours, Alexander

Warm welcome here Alexander ! Sure you choose the right bike and the right forum. Austria is a great place to ride bikes, as we surely do not have annual meeting there for the next years , hope to see you elsewhere. Do not hesitate to share your experiences and travels with some pictures in the right section of the forum  VCIF_salut

Another warm welcome. Both the Varadero as the Transalp are excellent bikes. Did you know we have an annual meeting around Witsun weekend (Pfingsten), the Varadero International Meeting? Perhaps we will meet there in the near future!
