I just received a letter from Honda Canada for recall on the Honda Centre Stand
Re: circlips/snap rings can fail and should be replaced by dealer
... I  have SW Motech

Lucky for you. I tried to exchange the parts - washer and circlip. It can only be changed by a licensed Honda tech.
I think I'll wait until spring for that.


On a side note, and off topic, but..., If I remember correctly you're in Terrace. I was out that way this summer and over to Gingolx. Wow! Beautiful scenery and riding on the way from Terrace to Gingolx.

In response to my query Honda NZ had this say about the recall '...if the gap is 8mm then all is OK. If it is 4mm then it needs to be replaced.'Mine needs to be replaced.

Yes, it's my regular day out, about 480km return trip to Kitimat. Fantastic mix of roads and countryside
