Sounds like your side stand has been tortured a bit. Heating and straightening would be my chosen remedy before packing the foot as has been suggested. I really search the terrain before parking as I too am only a lightweight. Try to make the road camber work for you, for the most upright stance and of course we all know not to park nose on to a downhill curb! Is it only Gold Wings and those American bikes that have reverse gear?
