Was a testing day with new pads in front and should test the sound from rear. Showed up that the sound was awful so instead you can view Swedish countryside and for Big Dave in the end a how to go to Skye...

Indeed a nice neighbourhood! Sitting on my bench I can almost smell the damp Swedish forests! Lovely roads for biking, cycling or running!
Great environment with hardly any traffic. I like that!

 ;D

Btw: I like Marillion too (i.e. the "old marillion" with Fish)! Been to their concerts several times  :)

Thanks for the comments.

Joseph: Only went out for an hour for testing the camera. Had problems with sound and fog inside. Boots were still black, topbox was more spotted with som mud.. Have a little short tail since I wrecked it, forgotten I had the locks on when riding to Spain an early morning 2 years ago.

Well, this is not mine, but from a Vara rider of Asturias (NW Spain). I believe he won't mind.  ;D

It's a climb to this "somewhat" paved track:

WOW!
Looks like Alpe d'Huez!
Could be a nice stage in Vuelta  :)

Could be a nice stage to be seen from a chopter, but they'd have to enlarge/arrange the track before  ;D

Anyway, this spot is not far from the well known stage ends of "Angliru"

and "Lagos de Covadonga"

Haven't been there in 30 years, but I remember Asturias as a place with quite rugged wilderness. Don't know how I'd find it now, as I've been to a few rugged places afterwards  ;)

Astonishing views I must say. Spain is definatly worth to discover more. There must be roads everywhere looking like this and also perfect weather nearly almost the time.

Weekend after VIM I was participating in a Long Distance Rally. The idea is to get to bonuslocations with different points and plan a good ride and then ride the plan. Rally was starting 07:30 in morning and ended same time Sunday morning. During 24 hours you was about to catch so many points as possible. A limit was set to 2000 Km. If you had drive over that, you had clearly done overspeed.

15 starters, from Sweden, Finland, Germany and UK.
In the end I had done 1647 km and got 32450 points and finished on 7th place, best rookie. A ride report is done how the day was,

Video, a summary over 24 hours

OMG! What a (crazy?) event!
And on mondaymorning you went to work  :o

We have the same kind of thing here in The Netherlands, except that you have the whole year to cover all the locations. You must make a photograph to prove you've been there. The one that has done the most locations at the end of the season will win the cup.

Not my ballgame actually. But it provides some nice destinations if you don't know where to go to..........
