Another Great Sunday Ride Out to a German Biker Meeting

Had a pleasant ride last Sunday on the restorated XLV, together with friends (forummember Blacksmith AKA Mense and his lovely wife Lidie) on a S10 Yamaha (Super Ten, short for Super Tenere) to a German Biker Motel we all know from VIM5 - 2003. It's got new owners who really did a great job renovating the place, but the large, delicious but affordable Schnitzels are still the same!

If you go north to our annual VCIM meeting in Norway this year, this please really is worth a visit, even to stay over the night. The rooms are fully renovated too.

She doesn't look that much old fashioned at all, don't you guys think?

Very nice. That certainly is a plateful! Where is this wonderful motel? I have a friend in Germany; used to have two.

Its on the road between the villages of Detern and Augustfehn. Easy accessible via the Motorway A31(28) Leer-Oldenburg, exit Filsum, than exit Stickhausen, from Stickhausen to Detern/Augustfehn. Or Exit Augustfehn, from Augustfehn at the intersection with trafficlights turn right towards Detern.
