Congrats with the bike in first place! Can't really Judge, but the new 1100 (especially the adventure) is darn expensive where I live. Just cureousity… you wrote "If commands where retroiluminated…"; can you specify? Don't understand.
The reason that made me go for it is tubeless. I refer to the ordeal I had two years ago on a puncture I had in Greece and the five hours I spent changing the inner tube
I got my ATAS 2020 on the 5th of Jan 2020, Not automatic gear and not electronic forks. I have already done 4,000 kms on it and hope to come on it to Biesczczady. I find it quite complicated with all the knobs and screen. What I have learned so far only to warm the handles. I have owner's manual of 370 pages I tried to learn from it but does not help too complicated for me. I am suggesting to the agency to arrange for a learning day to learn the knobs. The reason that made me go for it is tubeless. I refer to the ordeal I had two years ago on a puncture I had in Greece and the five hours I spent changing the inner tube.Looking forward to meet you on VIM and exchang ideas on the bike.
Not sure you can compare a 1100 @T with a 800 Tiger Reynald ! compare with the 1200 T (from 16 100€/18 300CHF) & in the future you can compare the new T@ with 800 ... or 900 wich is from 13 400€/ 13900CHF !!! please do not compare either prices from Adventure 20 (with options) with AT 16 ...You cannot compare CRF 1000 & 1100; very different bikes even if they look alike ... more displacement, more power, more torque, more equipment, better finish ... something different. and no the dashboard is not so complicate; have to ride some days to understand , but after run-in time everything is understood and under control . Hope to meet you !
