Have just put 2 mm spacer behind the screen (upper screens); report if it is better ...  ;)

Givi AirFlow -
I think that model AF1144  was not unless tested in a wind tunnel that has not been tested "live".  Screen works only in the lowest position.
Even then, the turbulence at speeds above 120 km/h cause nuisance pounding and failure pulsating noise. When driving in the rain (eaven in 90 km/h), water drops "are drawn" to the inside of the helmet (Schubert M1), and a cold wind causes a terrible chilling of the face.

The situation is completely changed, if we put the screen moves inversely, upside down (!). Turbulence and rumble are not occurring, and it is quiet,
the air flows around the helmet correctly

But - construction and way of painting that do not provide, as the lower part (as it becomes the top) is dull (not transparent) and causes a minor stab visibility. In addition, the lower part (formerly top) may have to be a bit shorter.
On the photograph properly functioning aerodynamically vice versa fixed glass.

I have write to the manufacturer GIVI to exchange the item - if they will ansver I let you know.

Ansver from Givi:
Quote
Dear customer,

thanks for contacting us and for your interest in our products.

Regarding your enquiry we inform you that during our tests on this motorcycle we haven’t noticed anything unusual and so far nothing is changed .

Unfortunately the use of these kind of items is highly subjective, besides we haven’t received any report of malfunction from other customers despite being a product widely sold.

However our technical dept tried to find out a spare of this screen without the dull part but unfortunately this process is the result of the finishing of the mould and not a subsequent phase, so we can’t supply a transparent screen.

We remain at your disposal for any further information
Best regards

Thats all folks ...

My new "addition" to oryginal AT screen works fine, looks nicer (IMHO), is removable, and You can set angle and high possition to meet your needs.
This is our local, Polish product, about 50 Euro.
Now I have changed the shape (hand by sandpaper). See photo

The lowest position screen set is higher only about 2 cm than standard.
It can be extended up to 8 cm.
In the middle position (as pictured), I see the road 6-8 meters ahead of motorcycle.

@ Bogdan,

Is that deflector also available for the Varadero? The website is only available in Polish... My Polish isn't that good anymore...  ;)
