And what about a new VCIF sticker ?

Every thing is in the title ; we have (for those who made them) stickers from VIMs. And it's also a recognizing sign all over the world; but what about a VCIF one?
Perhaps there was in the past but no more available ... so ...  ;)

Bonjour zebulon,

if you (we) are interested in stickers, I have the hot wire to the swiss connection (Edith and Frank) who made the stickers for example for VCIM 2014 at GEIRANGER.

If you know more, please let me know. I think they will support us again with a prototype if we say what we wanna have.

I don't want anything, just proposing if some people think it can be interesting... We have then to open a "competition" to have some graphic proposition.

Hello Gilles,
I think it's a great idea to design a kind of "vcif"-logo that can be used to produce stickers and badges.

Actually, Yvonne and I have been thinking about designing a personal kind of badge and apply it to our sweaters when going to vcim#16. Lack of time caused this idea to fail.

For the Dutch TransalpClub somebody designed a bordured badge that also shows your forum-nickname. I wear this one on my bikevest.
I remembered that it was quit a fuzz to design a logo that satisfied most of the members. Also the process of ordering, paying and delivering was pretty complicated. Will be even worse with our international community!

So when we are gonna design and produce a vcif-badge I will be in!

I don't have the creative mind and skills however to design a logo. But looking at our yearly vim-logo competition there are plenty members that can produce a nice one!

@ ALL:          If you have the skill to create such a logo, then do it.
@ Jos:           Please feel free and ask your comrades to make a proposal/proposals
@ Gilles:        May I ask you to set up such a contest as we had for the badge for VCIM 2014?

For embroidered badge I have the producers on hand, may be we wanna have as well bondable stickers. There we have to find a producer.

I´m confident getting done both, badge and sticker.

We had an official forum sticker made and sponsored by Peter Herghott from Slovakia. As founder and Admin I would embrace a new bumper sticker for on my bike and panniers.

The past has proven that our members love a sticker so everyone can recognize that you are VCIF member.
A patch for stitching on your jacket is (far) less popular.

Perhaps an idea to have a little competition? Like we do every year for our VCIM meeting?

@ Rainer:... great minds think alike.  ;D Feel free to open a competition. An official VCIF sticker should be simple andeasy recognizable, incl the forums URL. I love the ssticker I have from the adventure riders forum. Oval, yellow base, waterproof and reflective material.

Reflective is a great addition. I'll post a sticker(s) to promote the forum; great idea.

Whatever the eventual winner, it must have a prominent Vee in it somewhere, personally, I have to say I do favour Pixi's avatar. Perhaps somewhere between that and one of Skye's productions!
