VIM22- (postponed to 2022) in Biesczczady, Poland!

My Dear Ones,
I made one more attempt to agree on the postponement of VIM with the owner of Myczkowianka.
It's not easy, believe me.
 I agreed on a potential date to move the VIM22 to September between 17 and 19.
In my opinion, this is the last proposal I will be able to negotiate with him. September is a very attractive month in Bieszczady and there are many motorcycle events organized there.
What do you think, should I change the date from May to September, I need your decision.

If you decide not to organize VIM in May, I will of course respect this decision.

Do not understand Who is organizing , YOU or "US" ? we just come to visit you ... Sure you understand decision is the authorities ,for the moment it is not recommended for us to go to Poland and we have 10 days of quarantine.

However, I have put a lot of effort and time into preparing the event twice and I am unlikely to take on the organization next year.
So it seems to me a good solution would be to find another person who can better handle the organization of VIM22.

everybody knows how hard it is to organize such an even; it is 22nd edition, and we knows how it's work and how hard it is; seems we have proposed you help in the beginning - refused
You've said the same thing one year earlier; you do not want to keep the organization, and you are still here, and everybody thanks you, and appeciate your effort for the community, hoping to discover (soon) your surroundings.

Of course I will pass all contacts to the organizer in Myczkowce, with whom you will have to make arrangements and of course I will try to give as much support as I can.

I'm really sorry that things have developed in this way, I certainly would not undertake the organization if I suspected it.

There are imponderables, this pandemic is one, we must do with, protect us, and we will be happy to meet us "soon". We had incidents the previous years and we have always faced, so that we can meet in the best conditions. We appreciate your work and hope for a meeting as soon as possible.

Waiting for your last proposition agreement by all participants: for us if the situation will be better (what we are hopping) it surely can be possible to join in September; perhaps easier to make a poll, and see what are possibilities for others people...

If the fact that I'm still here is a problem for you, I'll try to solve it quickly. I assume Bogdan can take over the organization from me.
And besides, if you're interested in shifting VIM to September, you need a rather quick decision. The owner of Myczkowianka will not keep reservations for two dates indefinitely.

Absolutly not ! why do you think such a thing; as said your work is appreciated ! and sure we've said to you how hard it is .these are just constatation, every year when situation becomes difficult ... You've made nice job and waiting to discover your surroundings and meet again

I say postpone for another year, too many variables. Imposed quarantine while travelling,  provide negative covid tests, covid passport etc. We all want to get back out in the big wide world, but we need to be realistic.

I'm confused... Where is the meeting 2021?! Is it in the same place as 2022 (Poland, in the South)? I simply don't follow. Too much fumes inhaled so brains going slowly...

the 2020 meeting have been postponed in 2021 and now in 2022; due to situation no meeting this year

I think I got confused by the naming and grammar at first.

Apparently "VIM22" was not "VIM in 2022". That's confusing as duck.   

Also, "postponed to 2021" and "postponed in 2021" are two different things. I guess I'm not that smart and got stuck in the weird propositions of English language (I'm Swedish so it's not my mother lingo).

At any rate, Now I understand: no meeting during 2021, instead (possibly) next year, namely 2022. In my opinion, we should go for this year as the pandemic is about to ease down and will likely get better during the summer. But I guess this has been suggested and discussed until the ears were bleeding. A "no" is a "no" (that's what she said).

most of us are non native English , so we try to understand each other   

VIM is a spring thing not a summer one, so we had a vote and most of participants vote to postpone to spring (pentecost) 2022; you're right no meeting during 2021. easier to find accommodation for a hundred persons in spring as in summer (at a nice price); less people on roads, and VIM have been held 21 times in spring ...

Please all participants, and especially non-EU nationals, think for instance (but not too much chance it will be changed), you will have to be vaccined with one of the vaccine recognized by the European Medicines Agency (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen), to enter EU and perhaps each of the border inside Europe... make all chance to meet and take precautions to be able to meet.

Difficult to go in and out of UK these days.

No, we don't go to UK this year.
Too difficult.
We needed two covid tests each for entering UK and two more covid tests when returning to EU.
And because UK is a "very high risk area" (dark red), we would have to stay quarantined 10 days in EU.
All this because of Brexit 

We take a trip to Germany and Poland instead, and we'll have our bike serviced in Szczecin.
