I am not sure I can make it to VIM 20, two VIMs might be my lot for a while.

Don't you dare miss Andorra!
S Europe has its charms, I'd say  ;D

Regards,

Josep
Yes it does and I would like to come. But two trips in two years from this far away drains the travel fund  :'(

I am really pleased to know that next year VIM20 will be in Andorra. I live quite close to it, only a mountain range called the Pyrenees between us. I would like to help Josep, if he needs me. Josep, I am in 11240 Hounoux, France, some 150km from Andorra. Please let me know.

It has been a busy year for us, as we sold our house in the UK and moved to our new home in France in February this year. There is much work to do here but our swimming pool should be finished by September. Please visit us if you are riding this way. Not so easy this year but next year should be good.

We still have our 2012 Varadero and I will be attending the French meeting with her next weekend. I am sorry if I have not been very active with this group recently. I have been very occupied with the new house.

Why not select an hotel in for example the Eifel Region and arrange booking via booking.com.
Various hotels can be cancelled free of charge till 10 weeks in advance.
No goody bags, No T-shirts, No Logo's, No reservation via a special website, some gps tracks, a nice hotel with a bar and a terrace should be possible to arrange. If you made a reservation, just leave a message on the website that you will attend.

Just a simple gathering of friends.
In my opinion this should be easy to arrange... Takes less effort and is CHEAPER!

It's all about choices.

Not agree with you Menno because when you negotiate with an hotel,  coming with 80 or 100 persons, you have better prices (normally  ;D if you negotiate  )

The goody bag, t-shirt etc etc does cost money.
Never found VIM to be cheap compared to a normal weekend in a biker hotel.

The alternative: No Vim because it's too much work to organize it.
Selecting a hotel, asking the hotel to open bookings via booking.com in advance is hardly any effort. Thus: RESULT.

Do not worry, VIM is not a commercial organization and do not win any money, sometimes it is difficult not to lose. Considering what you win sometimes it doesn't cost you any money !...  ;)
