Skye's Fjelltour 2016
« on: July 07, 2016, 00:34:41 »
It's not a meeting but it is
It's not national, It is European

A little small idea, getting people enjoy their bikes even more, getting to places they never been, learn how to ride in maximum performance and be educated by other riders. Learn how the GPS works..

That is Skye's Fjelltour. This year 32 bikes came to start. Swedes and Norwegians + one german who had found the blog and took the opportunity to get among this polite friendship that excist between riders within heavy trails..

As I always says, it is not the brand of the bike, it is the person riding it I want to meet.

Videos says it all, blog, text and pictures a little so I provide it
My video

Jokerns video

Summary that will be fulfilled as more pix coming in

For instance, had a look on Flemming 's vid  VCIF_ThumbUp nice pics, nice music, stunning landscape as usual !!! seems you ride with hot grips; during the same time here is mesh jacket, jet helmet under 37 degrees ...  VCIF_salut
Alone we go faster, together we go further

I do not ride fast, I ride far / I'm not lost, I'm just exploring

Hi,

I took part in this great event and was absolutely delighted.
Fantastic landscapes, a great atmosphere with nice people, great organization and almost perfect weather.
And no hot grips. ;)

Many Thanks again Skye VCIF_ThumbUp

I look forward to next year.

You don't have to wait... previous to the tour, Magnus will host the 19th international Honda Adventure Riders Meeting (HARM) on the isle of Götland, Sweden, during the Witsun weekend (Pfingsten).  ;)

Sweden is devided into 3 regions, mostly to separate the weather forecast
Those are named, Norrland, Svealand and Götaland, borders are within a river and the lakes
Gotland has nothing to do with Götaland, it is an island in the baltic sea so skip the ö

Ö is the word for island, so if a name is ended with that letter, it is a smaller island. Bigger island has their own names, since they are huge and well known to a map
