FINALLY VIM-22 _ date 3-6 of June 2022

Dear participants of VIM-22, despite all the difficulties that stood in the way of the organisation of our meeting in the two previous years, I am pleased to inform you that this year we will meet in the Bieszczady Mountains.



Please find below the list of participants:


  • there are 14 people on the list who do not yet have accommodation,
  • there are still places available in two cottages (each equipped with bathrooms, three bedrooms, living room with kitchenette) (really very comfortable)
  • cottages for 4 to 6 people
  • it is also possible to book a room in Hotel Solina
If you are interested, please contact me for more information.

Also look out for t-shirt sizes, orders from the manufacturer must be placed by mid-April.

Just to clarify I will not be attending.
I have passed my VIM fee on to UberTourer as you know.

Thx Kris for all these updates and investments; how is the situation in this part of Europe? are the refugees still in the Biesczczady's center? what will be the situation in 2 months (if we can have some visibility  :o )? Is it possible to have a festive group in these conditions ?
some questions that I ask myself, but also no doubt many people ...
seems you have update without our Russians friends and Ukrainians (we still do not know ); have you some news to share ? but we still are 48 participants...

Meine Dicke, Bernard and me will make the Trip together form Bavaria via Czech Republic and Slovakia. Bernard and me back via Slovakia, Czech Republic and Saxony back to Germany.

I recommend you to go through Lower Silesia, i.e. from the Czech Republic not through Slovakia but through southern Poland.

The way to VIM, thatīs my planing.
I never had been at Slovakia, therefore itīs one of the countries on my bucketlist.

@ Kris: Is there a special reason because youīd prefer the routing through Lower Silesia?

And back home, as well as during the whole journey, I stay within the EU (Schengen Area or in the nearer future accession countries).
Although Iīd like to travel through Serbia, but at this time I donīt want to go to "unfriendly countries" as Wladimir would say.
