generator
« on: July 30, 2014, 22:22:29 »
Hi everyone

Is it possible to install the upgrade generator on 2005 vara?

I have an oxford intelligent hot grips.  After installing the rigid led ligth I noticed that the oxford shut off if I'm using the leds and the hot grips in 40% or more.  This meens that there is not sufficient W running on.

Or What alse can it be?

Heated grips don't use that much power.  60W - 70W.

Tell us more about the "rigid led ligth" ??

are you sure that you regulator/rectifier is working OK ?

Well,  the rigid D2 use 34w each, with the grips cellular and the chain lubrication relay l am using about 120w,

I know that the generator gives about 360w but I dont know how much left of it .
Honda didn't upgrad the generator just for fun :)

Anyway,  how can I check if the system works ok?
