I think the bikes come standard with lights on dip and full and it is only the reflector lens inside the light that is adjusted for the market the bikes go into, left for driving/riding on the left hand side for the road and right for the 'other side'.  The adjustment tilts the light beam slightly away from on-coming traffic.

So, maybe this bike has had a few modifications on the way up, but it doesn't make the overall inpression less ... Impressive ...
